This is a rendition of 'Jenny Kiss'd Me' by Leigh Hunt. It was written during the flu epidemic in the 1830s and I think it's a sweet little poem about how a special moment with someone can overshadow other difficulties in life. This really resonated with me, and I think getting to know you in the midst of everything seemingly falling apart across the globe leaves me with a similar feeling. Don't worry! There is no Jenny!
lyrics
Jenny kissed me
When we met
Jumping from the chair she sat in
Time you thief
Who'd love to get
Sweets into your list
Put that in
Say I'm weary
Say I'm sad
Say that health and wealth have missed me
Say I'm growing old
But do please add
Jenny kissed me
