This is a revision of one of the songs off my debut EP, 'Phototherapy.' With the new sonic approach to the EP, I intended this cut to take on a new meaning with subtle changes in the lyrics and more noticeable changes in the production. With Sean's help, we created a song that is about noting how pathetic (how sorry) we can all feel at times. But there is always the hope of seeing beyond this pain. Suffering is integral to the human experience; it is unavoidable and there is no reason to look away from it. However, there is beauty to be found when you get past it. This song is what I define as bittersweet. It doesn't convey happiness but it doesn't attempt to foster all out sadness, because neither feeling is the point.
lyrics
Fahim:
One day, I'll get over
I'll get over
All this
I'm sorry, I'm so sorry
I'm sorry. Sorry
Everyday I wake up to the son wondering what went wrong?
I'm sorry. Sorry.
You. For you.
Hang on. Gonna hang on. Gonna hang on.
I'm suffocating
আমি ঠিক আছি মা
আমি সুস্থ হয়ে
উঠবো
ভালো
চালু বাঁচি
আমরা যান
আমরা যান (So it goes, so it goes, so it goes, so it goes)
...
Sean:
Head's half in the clouds
All love when I'm down
Floating, I'm floating
Enjoy myself for now
Clocks won't bring me down
Slower, go slower
Think I'm going to see beyond this
Think I'm going to see beyond this
Think I'm going to see beyond this
Think I'm going, think I'm going
One day
